The FR 90 EI fire-resistant door and window system is mainly intended for exterior fire doors with fire resistance classes from EI15 to EI90. This is made possible by a gypsum filling in the chambers.
The doors are available in single- or double-leaf versions, with a standard threshold or in a threshold-free version. Kick plates and ventilation grilles can be fitted. FR 90 EI accepts roller or surface-mounted hinges as well as electric strikes, single-point locks and multi-point locks. As standard, the doors achieve burglar resistance class RC2 according to PN-EN 1627:2012.
Depending on the option chosen, products based on the FR 90 EI system can be smoke-tight, fire-resistant, or both smoke-tight and fire-resistant. Whether they can be used in escape routes also depends on the version ordered. All solutions can be used to meet legal requirements, as they comply with EN 13501-2:2016.
Smoke-tight and fire-resistant exterior doors, with or without the option of use on escape routes, EI 15/30/45/60/90, are CE certified.
